GRAB your tent, slip on your wellies and make sure your dancing hat is ready, Isle of Wight Festival gets under way tonight.

A special campers show in the Big Top later acts as a preview to the main event, which kicks off tomorrow and sees headline sets from The Who, Queen + Adam Lambert, Stereophonics and Faithless.

Festival-goers will be some of the last to see the full live Status Quo show in action tonight after the legendary rockers announced they would be hanging up their electric guitars after their 2016 tour.

One of Britain’s best loved rock bands, Status Quo - Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andy Bown, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and Leon Cave - will be performing classic hits such as Whatever You Want and Down Down in a special performance at 9.30pm tonight.

Also on the bill are Britpop favourites Cast at 8.15pm, Maxi Jazz & The E-Type Boys, the spin off band of Maxi Jazz of Faithless fame, at 7pm and grunge pop band The Dolls at 6pm.

Just in case you're a festival newcomer, or only have hazy memories of last year, we've also printed the site map so you can find your way around.
