TONIGHT truly is the night.
Rock legend Rod Stewart takes to the stage in Hampshire this evening.
His tartan army of fans will be treated to all the hits and more as he belts out his classics at the Ageas Bowl in West End, the home of Hampshire Cricket.
With timeless hits including Da Ya Think I'm Sexy, Maggie May, Tonight's The Night and You Wear It Well, he is an enduring world class entertainer who is ranked among the biggest artists of all time.
In a career spanning more than 50 years, the rock superstar has amassed sales of more than 200 million.
He's the recipient of two inductions into the coveted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, won a Grammy and was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) by The Queen in 2007.
Rod Stewart's latest album Another Country was released last year. He is performing just eight dates around the UK, mainly at football stadiums.
Support comes from soulful US duo The Sisterhood, featuring Rod's daughter Ruby Stewart and Alyssa Bonagura.
Hundreds of additional top price seats went on last minute sale earlier this week, but the all-seater gig is expected to be a complete sell out.
See tomorrow's Daily Echo for our review of the show.
