BOUNDING on stage in a skimpy fluorescent outfit, Jessie J made sure no one would forget her performance.

Blinding lights, a bunch of heart shaped balloons and her name emblazoned across the stage – Jessie J’s set was anything but dull.

The star is currently travelling across the UK with her Heartbeat tour and had the crowd chanting along to most of her songs.

It was refreshing to see a pop star with so much talent. She didn’t rely on her backing singers or impressive stage show to wow the audience – Jessie J’s unique and powerful voice was all that was needed.

Classic tracks like Price Tag and Do It Like A Dude had everyone gripped while new material including Shadow gave us a glimpse of what’s to come. Despite recently breaking her foot, the singer was full of energy and even invited some of the audience to get up and boogie with her.

As well as being a fantastic vocalist, she seems completely dedicated to her fans.

The night included short interludes during which she would talk to the audience and make silly jokes. It was like watching a mate perform on stage– she has a knack of making you feel like you know her.

Although the singer only has one album under her belt she delivered some impressive cover versions.

And judging by how well she commanded the stage in Bournemouth, I’m sure her fans will be waiting in anticipation for her next release.
