A HAMPSHIRE choir is preparing to share a stage with Brit Award-winning vocal quartet Blake.
It follows a nationwide search of the UK for local choirs to perform with the group during their Love Lifts Us Up UK tour.
Successfully chosen, the Alresford Community Choir will appear with Blake at Winchester Theatre Royal on September 15.
Together they will perform some of the group’s wellknown classic-pop renditions, including Hallelujah, Jerusalem and Nessun Dorma – songs that helped catapult the group to global success after their formation via Facebook in 2007.
The band will also be showcasing tracks from their new album, due out later this year.
