LAS Vegas rock band The Killers will headline Saturday night at the Isle of Wight Festival 2013 it has been revealed.

The four man band, one of the most successful of the last decade, complete the chart-topping bill of main stage headline acts for what promises to be another sell out weekend at Seaclose Park.

They join the Stone Roses who will take to the stage on Friday night and Bon Jovi, who will close the festival with a Sunday evening spectacular.

Formed in 2002, every one of The Killers' four studio albums has topped the UK Charts. Having earned themselves a reputation as one of the world's finest live acts, the band's hits include 'Mr Brightside', 'Human', 'Somebody Told Me', 'When You Were Young' and 'Runaways'.

The Killers have sold over 15 million albums and visited every corner of the globe, becoming one of the world's biggest and best rock 'n' roll bands in the process.

John Giddings, the Festival's promoter, says: “We are proud to bring one of the world's greatest rock bands of the last decade to our small island off the South Coast of England…thanks for coming-it will be a weekend to remember!”

In 2013 the iconic Isle of Wight Festival 2013 will also see UK Festival exclusive appearances from Jake Bugg, The Script, Bloc Party, Paloma Faith, The Maccabees, Ellie Goulding, Blondie and many more spectacular acts still to be announced.
