SOUTHAMPTON Solent University’s SMILE Festival of music and the music industries launches at The Cellar on Saturday.
The night will preview the whole event and feature acoustic sets from up and coming local talent including The Rabsons, James Herrity, Naomi Rush and Kai Knightly.
Music lovers will also have the chance to see Henry Wacey, The Lilly Whites, Emma Hunter and Groverooms in action from 1pm.
The festival will continue with a host of gigs and club nights in more than a dozen venues across the city.
There will also be a photography exhibition, workshops and music industry guest speakers.
