A SINGER from Hampshire who is getting nationwide recognition will be visiting the south on her next headline tour.
Rumer will release the second single from her critically-acclaimed new studio album Into Colour on January 12 and will be heading to Poole next year.
The singer-songwriter from New Milton, who has picked up a Mojo Award and BRIT nominations will release Reach Out one month before she appears at the Lighthouse, Poole on February 15.
It comes on the back of an appearance with legendary musician Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra this Sunday (December 14).
Her second album of original material, Into Colour follows the million-selling debut Seasons Of My Soul and continues a personal journey where she spent more than a decade as an unsigned act.
Pakistan-born Rumer, whose real name is Sarah Joyce, lived in the New Forest for several years before moving to London to pursue her career.
In 2012, at the same time as she struggled with bipolar disorder, Rumer reached number three in the UK charts while meeting many musical legends, and performing at The White House.
