FANS are promised all the hits and more as Paul Young returns to The Brook for a sold out show tonight.

Every Time You Go Away, Where Ever I Lay My Hat, Love of The Common People, Come Back & Stay, he'll perform all his biggest chart-toppers from the 80s.

After short stints with bands including Street Band and The Q-Tips, Paul came into his own with a formidably accomplished solo debut album No Parlez in 1983 including chart-topping singles Wherever I Lay My Hat and Come Back And Stay..

With the release of second album The Secret Of Association and the hit Every Time You Go Away

, his status as a world star was confirmed.

One of the highlights of the 1989 Nelson Mandela Tribute Concert was Paul’s performance of the Crowded House song Don’t Dream It’s Over which he later recorded for his best of album along with the Zuchero duet Sensa Una Donna.

1992 was spent touring the world, culminating in his appearance at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert and the release of his final album for Sony The Crossing.

He reacted to a hiatus in his career by calling up friends for an informal music session - just for fun! The result was the accomplished Los Pacaminos. They have been together 24 years, transforming favoured pubs into Tex-Mex haunts for the night purely by their musical presence.

Paul continues to write, record and play live. His latest album will feature classic soul covers.
