HUNDREDS of talented singers made the first ever Southampton and Eastleigh Choral Festival a resounding success.

The event, at King's Community Church in Hedge End, featured the sounds of 11 Hampshire choirs.

Audiences enjoyed the varied repertoire of Simply Singers (pictured), Romsey Ladies Choir, Soton Voce, Central Hall Gospel Choir the Royal Air Force Association Choir and barber shop quartet Drastic Measures during the morning session.

A lunchtime singing workshop was led by Andrea Robinson. Founder of the RobinSing Music Academy and Gospel Choir, Andrea is an inspired musician, talented songstress and vibrant instructor and coach who has performed with and set up choirs all across the UK.
