THE irrepressible Swing Commanders return to The Berry Theatre tonight as Hedge End Music Festival continues.
With music ranging from ragtime, through 40’s and 50’s classics and rarities, boogie woogie, western swing and jump jive, these hugely talented musicians transport you back to a more glamorous era creating a night to remember.
A stunningly vibrant and versatile group that performs an exciting mix of music, every member of the Swing Commanders sings and plays at least one instrument, sometimes three.
Yet what makes them stand out even above their incredible music ability and performing skills is their joie-de-vivre.
See them live by calling 023 8065 2333 or visiting theberrytheatre.co.uk
The festival, organised by Hedge End Carnival Committee, was opened by ground-breaking Moulettes and continues later this month with Son Yambu, direct from Cuba before an energetic finale from Moscow Drug Club.
