ACAPELLA group Coope Boyes and Simpson will be performing at Turner Sims Concert Hall tomorrow night (Saturday May 13) as a part of their Farewell Tour.

The South Yorkshire and Derbyshire trio released their first album Funny Old World in 1993 with songs full of social commentary, and in the words of Folk Roots Magazine, harmonies you could chew.

Q Magazine named it as their Roots Album of the Year in 1994. Now, twenty three years later, with a career that has encompassed a dozen albums, numerous tours, festival appearances and a Folk Awards nomination, the group are embarking on their Farewell Tour.

With music from their tenth and final studio album CODA, Coope Boyes and Simpson return to their roots and complete the circle that started with Funny Old World. Expect a performance set to be a celebration of their career, featuring music from across their entire repertoire.
