THEATRE bosses have just signed up two more exciting shows for The Mayflower.
Dirty Dancing – The Classic Show on Stage, a smash hit last year, will return to Southampton in June 2014 as part of a new tour of the UK.
Written by Eleanor Bergstein, script writer and co-producer of the phenomenally successful 1987 film, the production features all the much-loved characters and original dialogue from the iconic film with exciting extra scenes added in.
Musical master of ceremonies Jools Holland and his much-loved Rhythm and Blues Orchestra will be joined by former Spice Girl Melanie C for their 2013 tour at the theatre next November.
Tickets for Jools Holland are on sale today, while Dirty Dancing tickets are available on Valentine’s Day.
