A MUSEUM dedicated to Jane Austen will host a talk looking at women’s lives from the author’s time until the 20th century.
Jane Austen’s House Museum, in Chawton, will welcome Lucinda Hawksley to discuss her book March, Women, March and explore the changing role of women.
She will also discuss social changes which helped make the UK a more favourable place for women than the country Jane Austen’s heroines knew.
The talk is at 2pm in the learning centre at the museum, on April 25.
