IT'S a cinematic celebration in the city.
Southampton Film Week 2015 gets under way tomorrow.
Venues across the city are getting involved in the eighth annual event, which includes a great mix of films, workshops, events and competitions.
There’s something for all ages and interests including plenty of local focus, showcasing what a vibrant film culture we have in Southampton and the surrounding area.
Fans of the Punk era should go along to The Stage Door on Monday evening to hear Paul Gorman talk about and introduce the films of his friend Malcolm McLaren, pictured. That's followed by a screening of the The Great Rock and Roll Swindle – Julien Temple’s controversial but fascinating insight to the life and times of The Sex Pistols which includes the seminal Sid Vicious’s rendition of My Way.
Other highlights include silent classics, Cannes Film Festival winners, red carpet screenings and foodie treats.
