I PREDICT a Riot.

Thousands are expected to sing and chant along with lead singer Ricky Wilson as rockers Kaiser Chiefs take to the sands for Hits on the Beach at Boscombe Pier, Bournemouth tonight.

The band will belt out all their biggest hits including their number one hit single Ruby and I Predict A Riot, as part of Bournemouth Air Festival.

Newest single Parachute from their forthcoming album Stay Together, due for release in October, will also make up part of the set from the indie favourites.

The rockers from Leeds will join Travis and rising star Imani Williams, along with Calum Scott, on the beach stage to the backdrop of stunning night flying displays.

The music programme got under way last night with a very British affair dubbed proms on the beach. A musical spectacular was performed by the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Collingwood.

Sunset on the Beach continues the entertainment on Saturday with Example and DJ Wire, plus support from Blonde and DJ’s Jaguar Skills and Majestic.

A four-day extravaganza of land, sea and air display entertainment, the annual Bournemouth Air Festival is much more than just an air show.

The skies over Bournemouth and the surrounding area are filled with the likes of the awesome RAF Red Arrows, the mighty Typhoon, SallyB and The Blades, as well as a multitude of land, sea and air Royal Navy assets.

New performances for 2016 come from the B25Mitchell Bomber, Strike Master and awe-inspiring Swiss Air Force Super Puma Helicopter Display Team.

Visitors can see the breathtaking display from the Red Arrows at 3.45pm each day.
