THE Christmas art exhibition at Christchurch Regent Centre features the work of local landscape specialist Alan Hayden.
Opening today (Friday December 8) and running until Friday December 29, the emphasis is on Christchurch Harbour and the Avon Valley.
Alan, who lives in Christchurch, has provided a visual panorama of local landmarks between Ringwood and Hengistbury Head and along the banks of Christchurch’s twin rivers, the Stour and the Avon and also from Bournemouth seafront to Poole Harbour, creating some wonderful seascapes.
Over the summer, Alan had another successful exhibition in Bournemouth Gardens, which he co-ordinates each year for fellow local artists. He has also had another successful exhibition at the Hayloft Gallery in Christchurch.
There will be over 80 watercolours and oils in his Regent Centre exhibition, together with cards and prints of Alan’s work. He will be on hand to discuss his work throughout the Exhibition.
