Local Musicians wanted!
NST City is to showcase the best of local musical talent in The Gateway Sessions.
Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) is looking for local musicians to perform at NST City and as part of its inaugural season in this new venue, NST will host The Gateway Sessions. From May, these monthly music evenings will provide a platform for local rock and pop artists to perform their work. Local bands are asked to apply with three songs, a short biography and a paragraph on how they market their sound to a local selection panel.

NST City opened on Friday 16 February. Alongside the theatre programme, comes a brand new music programme, featuring The Gateway Sessions, a one-off performance from Southampton’s very own Band of Skulls on 21 April, Blueprint, a new festival of Jazz 11- 13 May and Bump ‘n’ Hustle, a fusion evening of the very best Nu-Soul, R n B, Soul Classics, Jazz Funk, and Soulful, Deep Funky House music on 14 April.
