Duo take over radio slot

THEY are the dynamic duo who will be taking over the mic on a local radio breakfast show.

Jason ‘JK’ King and Lucy Horobin, pictured right, will be waking up the south coast every morning from 6am, on Heart 96-103 FM.

The show, which starts next month, will feature a variety of music, exclusive showbiz interviews, competitions and giveaways, plus local news and traffic updates.

Jason brings a wealth of experience to the Heart Breakfast Show, having won awards as a television and radio presenter as one of half of popular duo, JK and Joel.

Lucy also comes from a radio and broadcasting background, having interviewed A-list celebrities including Kylie Minogue and Zac Efron.

The duo take over the reign from previous presenters, Jules and Bunker, who presented the show for three years.

Heart’s Programme Controller Simon Monk said: “We are thrilled to welcome two presenters of JK & Lucy’s calibre to the Heart family.

“We know that our listeners across the south coast will love them.”
