PREPARE for a dazzling display of colour, music and dance this weekend as both Southampton and Eastleigh stage their Mela Festivals.
The tenth annual Southampton Mela Festival will be held tomorrow at Hoglands Park, near Debenhams, while the Eastleigh Mela will be held at Leigh Road Recreation Ground on Sunday.
Both are free festivals packed full of an assortment of musical styles, exhilarating dance acts, workshops, stalls and family fun activities, celebrating South Asian culture.
Organisers promise Indian Classical and Asian Fusion, Bollywood and Bhangra performances and multi-cultural acts from other nations.
