SHE'S famous for watching TV.

Not being a Gogglebox viewer at all, I was slightly incredulous that the show's star Scarlett Moffatt was even included in this year's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here line up at all.

I had no literally no idea who she was, the name meaning nothing to me.

For the uninitiated, like me, Gogglebox is a Channel 4 programme which features families and groups of friends from around Britain sat in their living room, reacting to what is appearing on their television.

So it did seem a rather bizarre inclusion.

In fact, it turned out to be a masterstroke.

I was completely wrong with my early bet that Gavin and Stacey and Eastenders actor Larry Lamb would be named King of the Jungle, the crown instead being scooped by the girl he gallantly saved from crocodile-infested waters when her canoe began to sink before they had even reached the camp.

Scarlett certainly found her feet once firmly on dry land and was likeable, witty, popular in the camp and, well, normal.

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan worried about what it said about the world when someone who is famous for watching TV wins a TV show.

I'm certainly no fan of reality TV and do generally like my TV favourite to have a talent, but I dare say she deserves the airtime a lot more than her detractors.

who cares if she's famous for doing nothing?

She certainly won't be for long.
