The front seat passenger was Peter Morton, 20, of Potters Heron Close, Ampfield.
Both men were killed and a back seat passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Eastleigh, was taken to hospital with a broken ankle.
In a statement Peter's family said: "He was a wonderful son and brother with a tremendous zest for life.
"He lived life to the full. He will be dearly missed by his family who loved him very, very much.
"He had an abundance of friends who will miss him as much as he will do."
Robin's family also issued a statement, saying their son was a popular person who loved his car.
