A TRUCK driver had to be cut free from his vehicle after a crash in Southampton Docks this morning.
Emergency services were called to the docks just after 7am today after reports a truck carrying diesel had been involved in an accident with a plant vehicle.
According to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service the incident had left the driver trapped by his legs in the truck.
Special equipment units were deployed from St Mary's station shortly after the incident was reported. Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment in order to remove the driver from the truck.
