has announced plans for a new apprenticeship scheme as part of its plans to expand.
Eastleigh-based FireCare Solutions Ltd wants to take on at least one trainee a year and hopes to increase this number in the future.
This year the firm has drafted in Bradley Abrahams to work as a fire alarm and extinguisher engineer on a three-year electrical apprenticeship, in partnership with Eastleigh College.
Managing director Darren George said: “We’ve taken Bradley on because of the additional volume of work we are generating, twice as much in the past 12 months as in the year before. We are committed to employing local staff and investing in young people and we expect to take on a new apprentice each year.”
