SOUTH West Trains has been awarded a prize for its customer service during the Olympics.
Judges of the National Cycling Awards considered that the Hampshire rail operator was worthy to scoop the first prize for Best Customer Service.
The judges said they were impressed with the train operator’s work to promote and increase cycling and support the major cycling events taking place during the summer.
They said the company’s customer service provision was “exemplary”.
The awards were created to recognise the progress made by the rail industry and associated organisations.
