TOOLS worth more than £1,000 were stolen in a raid at a building site.
Burglars broke into the site in Burma Road, Winchester, between 3.30pm last Friday and 9am yesterday morning.
It is the fifth time the site has been raided since October. The stolen items are a Nielsen socket set worth £75, a Stanley socket set worth £95, a Hilti hammer drill worth £650, a Bosch hammer worth £150-£200 and a Hitachi cordless drill worth £150.
The site is for new University of Winchester accommodation and is surrounded by a 6ft metal fence.
