A PEACFUL march will be held next week calling on police to widen their search for missing teenager Damien Nettles.

It is hoped the Cowes community on the Isle of Wight will come together to put pressure on detectives to search three new locations, including two areas of Parkhurst Forest and a site in Gurnard.

Organiser, Kaley Hall, a mum-of-four, will lead the march on December 8 in the bid to help Damien's family discover what happened to him.

Damien, 16, who was from Gurnard on the Island, vanished after a night out with friends in 1996. His body has never been found.

A total of eight people have been arrested and questioned on suspicion of being involved in his possible murder.

Damien's mum Valerie, who now lives in Texas, has put up a reward of £10,000 for information leading to his remains and his killer's conviction.
