Sports-mad youngsters at a Southampton school will have no shortage of bats and balls to keep them amused after a supermarket donated a raft of equipment.
The crates of outdoor equipment were handed over to Wordsworth Infant school in Southampton by the Sainsbury’s Shirley store.
The supermarket donated the items after hearing about how the school is currently undergoing expansion which means a remodelling of the playground.
