They are the 15 tallest buildings in the world.

From Shanghai’s World Financial Centre and Jin Mao Tower to Kuala Lumpur’s two Petronas Towers, occupants of the stunning structures can enjoy stunning views of the world, at nerve-jangling heights of up to 2,717ft.

And now, with just 15 days to go until the end of the world (according to some believers in the Mayan calendar), it’s your turn to experience the amazing bird’s eye views which are on offer before it’s too late.

Ease your way into an epic abseiling challenge by inching your way down the 1,354ft Al Hamra Firdous Tower, in Kuwait, before frying some bigger fish. The 15-building test will take you to the top of the Trump International Hotel and Tower, in Chicago, where you will also tackle the 1,450ft Willis Tower. But standing at almost twice that height is the Mac Daddy of them all – Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, which stands at 2,717ft.

So find your head for heights – not to mention a crash helmet and a very long rope – and get cracking. And if you work up an appetite along the way, footballer turned crisp-connoisseur Gary Lineker will no doubt be on hand to recommend one of the 15 different flavours of his favourite brand of potato snack – one for each day we have left on planet Earth.
