POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a man who was punched, slammed into a shop window and thrown to the ground in a Southampton street.
The victim, who is thought to be in his 20s, did not report the attack, which happened outside Caspians takeaway in Bedford Place, but it was caught on CCTV.
A second man was also assaulted and suffered cuts, bruises and a dislocated shoulder.
Police believe the man in the attack caught on camera may have also received serious injuries, and are asking for him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
Two men aged 20 and 22, both from Southampton, have been arrested on suspicion of assault. The 22-year-old was also detained on suspicion of criminal damage.
Both have now been released on police bail, pending further enquiries, until February 25.
Anyone with information should call PC Paul Rose at Southampton Central police station on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
