CCTV picture released of man wanted after bus driver is spat at for remembering war dead
Police hunting a man who is accused to have spat in the the face of a Hampshire bus driver for pulling over to mark the Remembrance Day two minute silence have issued a picture of a man they want to question.
Officers have today released a CCTV photograph and say a man was angry at waiting after the bus stopped in Midanbury, Southampton, as a mark of respect to the nation's fallen.
Frustrated, he began punching the clear plastic screen protecting the 49-year-old driver before spitting and getting off with a female, a child and a white and brown dog on Woodmill Lane.
The supect has a large build, mid 20s to early 30s, a gaotee styled beard and was wearing blue hooded top, dear stalker type hat, blue trainers and dark bottoms.
Anyone with information on the incident on November 11 at 11am can contact Shirely Police on 101 or anonymously call the Crimestoppes number on 0800 555 111.

No doubt if he ever gets arrested, he will get a smack on the wrist and let go - when he should be made to attend a military boot-camp for a few months and find a bit of respect for other people. What a to$$er :o/

I'm shocked that this man who spat did so in front of a child too. What example is that? And just for 120 seconds. Really? Is life so shallow now that we can't spare that to think of others.
I hope the driver carries on as I am sure the majority of us appreciate he/she does a difficult job.
