A TEENAGER and his stepfather were kicked and punched during a New Year’s Day attack by a gang.

The pair, aged 16 and 31, were walking home with their bikes shortly after 12am when they were jumped on by up to ten youths.

Both were attacked from behind in the assault in Kathleen Road, Sholing, at its junction with Alfriston Gardens.

Both their BMX bikes, one which was silver and the other blue, were stolen.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
