HE is hoping to be Saints’ lucky charm for their big match against the European Champions.

Brave Saints fan Louis Barber, from Chandler’s Ford, who is battling a rare cancer-like disease, is due to be the match day mascot and walk out with his footballing heroes ahead of the Saints' clash against Chelsea in the FA Cup third round.

The ten-year-old, who is being treated at Southampton General Hospital’s children’s cancer ward, was picked by the match sponsors, Thirstee Business.
