Police investigating a fire that caused extensive damage to Pier Café in Totland Bay on the Isle of Wight are appealing for more information.

The incident occurred around 10.30pm on  January 3 when smoke was seen coming from inside the café.

Police and Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene and initial enquiries indicate that it was a deliberate act which may be linked to a report of anti-social behaviour and damage to property in the same location shortly before the fire was discover.
