RESIDENTS in Alresford are drawing up a petition to reduce cars driving down their narrow street, the town council heard.

People living in Mill Hill say too many drivers are using their roads, a cul de sac that leads off the Town Mill and Weir House, the home of George Hollingbery, MP for the Meon Valley.

They want an access only-type sign to reduce the traffic.
