Women in punch up at taxi rank
Police are appealing for witnesses to a fight between two women at a taxi rank in Hampshire.
The women – one aged 18 from Aldershot and the other aged 19 from Hayling Island – were involved in an fracas in the early hours.
The incident took place in Station Road, Aldershot, between 2.30am and 2.55am on Sunday.
Both women sustained facial injuries.
PC Ian Howard said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the Station Road area at the time and particularly a man who was wearing a white t-shirt, to assisted the women following this incident.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Howard at Aldershot Police Station on 101 or call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
An 18-year-old woman from Aldershot has been arrested in connection with this incident and bailed until February 12, pending further enquiries.
