A large window of an Eastleigh cafe has been smashed.

The incident happened at O’Briens, in Market Street, at about 9pm on Monday and police said it could cost the business up to £5,000 because the shop had to be shut until it was replaced.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested for criminal damage.
