Eco backing for solar farm

ENVIRONMENTAL campaigners are to present a petition in favour of a solar farm in Hampshire.

Gosport and Fareham Friends of the Earth have collected more than 200 signatures asking Fareham Borough Council to approve the planning application for the scheme at Stubbington. They will present this at the civic offices, in Fareham tomorrow.

The application site is Newlands Farm, south of Tanners Lane.

It culd be worse it could be useless windmills rather than useless solar farm!
