Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a crash in the centre of Southampton.

The collision happened at Stoneham Way traffic lights at 8.30pm on January 24 at the Wide Lane and Bassett Green Road junction.

It involved a black Vauxhall Zafira driven by a 40-year-old Southampton woman and a silver Ford Fiesta driven by a 50-year-old woman from Southampton.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries as well as a 21-year-old woman from Southampton; a passenger in the Fiesta.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact PC Colin Green at Totton Roads Policing Unit on 101.
