Pensioner hurst in city centre bus accident
A Hampshire pensioner has been taken to hospital after a bus accident in Southampton city centre.
Emergency services were called to Hanover Buildings following the accident at 11.48 this morning.
Police immediately closed the road, following the accident involving a First Bus, while ambulance staff treated the 82-yrea-old woman.
She was taken to Southampton General Hospital suffering from a broken ankle and a possible broken wrist.
The road was due to be reopened by about 1.45pm.

Sorry you feel that way about 'old people' but you're talking about someone's mum.....my mum actually.
She is quite poorly at the moment.
