A TEENAGER who turned up at a music festival near Winchester with a quantity of drugs has narrowly avoided a prison sentence.

Cormack Reid, 19, of Holly Park, Plymouth, was arrested at the Boomtown Festival at Matterley Bowl on August 9 last year, Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard.

Reid admitted possessing cannabis with intent and possessing quantities of cannabis, ecstasy, LSD, psilocin and DMT.

He was jailed for six months suspended for a year and ordered to do 180 hours unpaid work with costs of £85.
