Silver stolen from Lee-on-the-Solent house
SILVER items were taken from a home in Lee-on-the-Solent but then dumped nearby.
A burglar forced entry to the house in Monserrat Road and stole a silver plate and jug. However these were found nearby in Swanage Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses. If anyone saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area at the time of the incident, between 8.30pm last Saturday and 7am last Sunday, or anyone dump-ing the stolen items, call PC Sam Gee at Gosport Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
