THE WHITE stuff could be back in Hampshire within days.

The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for snow on Sunday and Monday for the county as temperatures struggle to reach above freezing.

It comes as a result of a band of rain spreading from the south-west during Sunday which will turn to sleet and snow.

There are predictions that up to 10cm could fall in the south, but Southampton is expected to miss out on heavier downpours.

Temperatures will reach no higher than 3 or 4C.
