Lib Dems boost Pupil Premium

THE Liberal Democrat candidate Mike Thornton was joined by volunteers across Eastleigh yesterday to highlight the impact of the Pupil Premium in the borough.

The policy introduced by the Liberal Democrats has invested £1.7m in Eastleigh schools, and is aimed at ensuring every child has a fair start in life.

Mr Thornton visited Crestwood College for Business and Enterprise, along with Nick Harvey MP to highlight the impact of the policy that has meant Crestwood has received £126,501 in extra funding.
