PARCEL delivery giant UPS has agreed a major land deal in Southampton.
The courier firm has signed an industrial pre-let on a 90,000 sq ft site in the city.
Endeavour Park, in Millbrook, has been acquired on a 20-year lease, in a deal that will cost the company almost £800,000.
UPS will move to the site by the end of the year.
The 15-acre plot, which was the former NXP site, was bought by Canmoor Developments Limited in 2011.
The deal was agreed by commercial property consultancy firms Lambert Smith Hampton and Dowley Turner Real Estate.
Jerry Vigus, director in Lambert Smith Hampton’s south coast agency team, said: “The arrival of UPS to Endeavour Park is a huge vote of confidence for the scheme and the wider market.”
