Pull the other one Dave. If that's the case then what's stopping you standing up for the man in the street already and telling it like it is?
Never forget that a vote for the Tories is a vote for shameless self interests first and foremost. For rich fat cats it's happy days - tax breaks when the rest of the country is struggling to make ends meet. Ditto tax exiles or newspaper owners. All those people love David Cameron because he puts their interests firmly above the average, hard working decent person.
The man on the street seems to be dirt on his shoe to the average Tory MP. That's an undeniable fact when their record is looked at.

However It is not just the tories. There is little to no difference between them and or labour.
Under Labour or the Tories, we’ve never been in this together. Labour were absolutely fine with fat cats in the private sector – they knighted them in droves, after all – as long as there were fat cats in the public sector too.
Accordingly, the biggest drift between rich and poor, in both the private and public sector, happened under the last Labour government.
And we are supposed to believe that Labour is on the side of the man in the street? Their shameful record in power tells a completely different story.
Was there any difference between the politics of "Nu-Labour" under Tony Blair or the Tories? If anything he was worse, flying round the world to fawn to dictators like Ghadafi. Much like he does now of course. Zero integrity it seems.
His legacy means we tragically now live in a tabloid world where spin almost always beats decency.
The Lib Dems, for all their faults, make their decisions on what they think is best for the common man. It's such a novel approach they get hammered for it in the press, where decency seems to come at the bottom of the list with spin firmly at the top of course.
The good people of Eastleigh buck that trend normally - decency does beat spin in some places. Hopefully that will happen again, but circumstances could certainly be more favourable!

It was not in the last Tory manifesto, he won't wait and put it in the next Tory manifesto (I'm sure most of the public would support it), he just imposes it on the country mid-term, and the public can just shut up and accept what he decides. Democracy!

Don't get me wrong, I hate the EU bureaucracy as much as anyone, but many of the problems we blame on "Europe" are actually of our own making. Yes, we need to change our relationship with the EU; instead of all the negativity and sceptisism we need to be positive about it and ruthlessly exploit every opportunity it offers. After all, we pay enough to be in it! From a business point of view, there's far more we can get out of countries like Bulgaria and Romania being in the EU than they can ever get out of us.
