MOTORISTS heading into Salisbury on the A36 are warned to expect delays next week.
Highways Agency staff are due to start installing new energy-saving street lighting along a mile stretch of the road south of Alderbury on Monday, and the work is likely to take about a month.
Engineers will be working between 9am and 3pm and again between 7pm and 6am all next week and between 7pm and 6am during the rest of the work. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
A Highways Agency spokesman said the new lights would reduce carbon emissions.
