Senior Lib Dem Vince Cable was out pressing the flesh this afternoon as his party battles to retain his Eastleigh seat.
It is the third time the Business Secretary has visited the town to back his party's by-election candidate, Mike Thornton.
Voters in Eastleigh will head to the polls next Thursday to vote for disgraced former MP Chris Huhne's successor.
