One of the Hampshire's busiest roads was closed in both directions following a three-car crash.
The A326 Marchwood bypass was shut for almost two hours while police dealt with a "serious" crash.
The accident happened near teh Dibden roundabout at 11.58am just south of the Staplewood Lane junction.
Witnesses are being asked to call Hampshire Constabulary on 101 with any information.
An appliance from Totton fire station was despatched amid fears that at least one person was trapped in the wreckage of the vehicles.
But a Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said no-one had to be cut free, which meant the crew did not need to take any action.
