Police hunt after man suffers ankle injury in fight
Police hunt has been launched after a man suffered az cracked ankle during a fight.
At about 1am on Saturday a 22-year-old man was walking home through Cowes when he appears to have been drawn into an exchange of words with two men and two women who were sat on a bench by the corner of Birmingham Road and Shooters Hill.
A fight broke out, during which the man sustained an injury to his left ankle.
He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital by ambulance for treatment to a cracked fibula.
Police are seeking to identify two men and two women in relation with the incident.
- The first man is described as a white man, with short dark hair, wearing a dark hooded jacket, jeans and trainers.
- The second man is described as a white man, with short dark hair wearing a hoody with white ties and a Nike rucksack.
- The third person is a white female with long blonde hair and the forth suspect is a white female with long brown hair, wearing a dark jacket and dark coloured leggings.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at around the time to get in contact with them if they think they may have seen the incident involving the group.
