A DEVOTED Southampton fan of Justin Bieber has hit back after the heartthrob kept her and thousands of fans waiting for two hours at last night's concert.
Holly Sennett said she was shocked that fans began booing the 19-year-old pop star saying simply: “He was worth the wait.”
Pop superstar Bieber today apologised to fans for keeping them waiting with a late-running gig.
The popstar was booed by some fans when he eventually took the stage at the O2.
It left some young fans in tears, while many had to leave just minutes into his performance.

He said there was ''no excuse'' for his late arrival and added that he was sorry about those he had upset.
The singer had been playing the first of a run of nights at London's O2 Arena last night but many of his school-age fans were forced to leave early to meet parents or catch trains home.
However, devoted fan Holly defended her idol.

The 15-year-old, from Sholing, Southampton, said: “I couldn't believe people were booing him. I thought he wouldn't want to come out if he heard that.
"It is not like he was refusing to come out, something had obviously delayed him and it was a brilliant show.”

The Sholing technology pupil, who eventually arrived home at 2.45am after her dad Matt took her and a friend to the gig, was then woken up at 6.30am for a full day at school.
As previously reported by the Daily Echo, Holly is so obsessed with the pop star she admits he has taken over her life and even takes posters of him on holiday with her.

Bieber yesterday apologised for arriving late on stage in London, tweeting: 'I was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that.''
